A range of new webinars and employer-led workshops to support teachers and trainers have been announced as part of the Education and Training Foundation’s (ETF) T Level Professional Development (TLPD) offer.
Those involved in delivering the new courses are encouraged to sign up for these new opportunities to undertake professional development. The recently announced additions include six webinars for teachers and trainers who will be delivering the three T Levels available from September 2020, with the sessions focusing on assessment.
Teachers and trainers who will teach the Digital Production, Design and Development T Level can choose sessions on either 5 or 19 March; those teaching the Design, Surveying, and Planning T Level can book for 6 or 20 March; and those who will be delivering the Education T Level can opt for sessions on 5 or 19 March.
The range of popular Employer-led Workshops also continues to expand. Recent additions include a workshop in Leicester on 28 February, which will be delivered by Andrew Starr of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. It will look at overcoming challenges, supporting young people waiting for referrals, and managing risk. Another new session, led by East Lancashire Hospitals Trust, takes place in Blackburn on the same date. Participants will gain an insight into cutting edge practices within the healthcare sector.
With so much support available through the ETF’s TLPD offer, the Foundation encourages you to check its TLPD calendar regularly, and sign up for the fortnightly bulletin, which includes updates on recently-announced events and webinars.
It was announced on 7 February that the ETF has been awarded a major new four-year contract by the Department for Education to deliver T Level Professional Development from April 2020.
