The Society for Education and Training (SET) has appointed Martin Reid as its new Head of Membership.
Earlier in the month SET said goodbye to its Head of Membership, Sarah Morgan, after three years of leading and managing the development of SET’s membership.
Tim Weiss, Director of Business Development, Membership and Communications at the Education and Training Foundation (ETF), said: "We would like to thank Sarah for her excellent, determined work during this time.
"Taking over her role we welcome Martin Reid (pictured) who joins us with a wealth of experience of successful leadership of membership organisations, including the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists."
"I am very much looking forward to working with the team to further the growth of SET and continue to broaden the support we provide. Further education is such an important profession and, as the only professional body dedicated to the sector, I hope more and more teachers and trainers will see SET membership as a passport to career success," said Martin.
