SET appoints redactive to produce member journal

The Society for Education and Training has appointed Redactive to produce its member journal, inTuition, after a competitive tender.

Redactive will provide content strategy, editorial, design, advertising, and print and digital distribution services. Published quarterly, inTuition is distributed to 20,000 SET members — professionals working across the Further Education (FE), vocational teaching and training sector.

SET and Redactive have worked together to produce a new content structure and design for the 40-page publication that will provide members with news, advice, and research to keep them informed and help enhance their performance.

The first issue under Redactive management, out in mid-May 2020, is a 16-page special edition produced to enable SET to communicate with and provide advice to its members during the lockdown. The special issue content includes:

• Developing online learning
• Mental wellbeing advice for teachers and trainers during the lockdown
• CPD support and remote working guidance including inspirational case studies

The first full issue of inTuition under Redactive’s management will be published in June.
