Please join us for the second live webinar from our series on 'Teaching in the time of the coronavirus' with Geoff Petty, as he looks at how to support learners remotely.
When learning alone students often lack confidence, get stuck, and need to ask questions and request help. During the webinar you will learn of well-tested and highly structured ways to provide this support, despite social distancing. The methods are greatly enjoyed and appreciated by students. Social media and Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) help, but often a telephone will do.
"I’d recommend these approaches even if we were free of the pandemic, but in our present fix they are vital. These approaches work wonderfully with Independent Learning, but also with Resource Based Learning, or Computer Based Learning, indeed they can be adapted to work in pretty much any context," says Geoff.
A CPD certificate is available to SET members who joined us live for the one-hour session. You can download this in the resources tab on the main event auditorium page.
