Practitioner Advisory Group (PAG) recruitment

We’re recruiting for the Practitioner Advisory Group (PAG). We welcome applications from all members in the grade of ASET and above.  We actively encourage applications from all backgrounds and would particularly encourage nominations from young, disabled and/or ethnic minority people. Please note: as a member of the PAG you will be expected to meet up 3 times a year, a mixture of online and in person. It’s a voluntary role but expenses will be reimbursed.

  • 20 November 2026

Chair of the Practitioner Advisory Group

We are also recruiting for a Chair of the Practitioner Advisory Group (PAG), to ensure the group effectively fulfils its role in advising, informing, and supporting the ETF. 


Key Responsibilities of the role     

  • Provide clear leadership to the PAG, ensuring it operates effectively and in line with its terms of reference. 
  • Chair meetings of the PAG, ensuring agendas are relevant, discussions are inclusive and focused, and actions are followed up.
  • Foster a collaborative and open culture that encourages diverse practitioner voices and constructive challenge. 
  • Ensure the PAG provides high-quality, practitioner-informed advice to the ETF’s Board and Executive Team 
  • Work with the organisation to ensure the PAG’s input is aligned with strategic priorities and adds value to decision-making. 
  • Support the induction and development of PAG members.  
  • Ensure effective communication and feedback loops between the PAG and the wider practitioner community. 
  • Support succession planning and the recruitment of new PAG members. 
  • Embodies the ETF values
