Practitioner Advisory Group

In the Society for Education and Training (SET) strategy, published in June 2015, we explained how we want members to be at the heart of everything we do, and your advice and feedback to guide SET’s evolution at every step.

We have achieved this by consulting with you on what you want to see in a new membership service. As part of this, we convened an initial Practitioner Advisory Group (PAG): a group of 40 professionals working across the FE and training sector that came together twice during our consultation to discuss their thoughts and opinions about membership, and to feed back on our proposals for the new membership offer.

As a key part of our new governance structure following this first consultation phase, we established the PAG. The group meet three times a year to provide member advice on existing and new SET benefits and features, in order to improve and develop the service for those working across all parts of the education and training system.

Apply to become a PAG member.

We welcome queries or comments from all members on any of the areas discussed during the PAG. Please address these to: membership.communications@etfoundation.co.uk.
