Applications now open – OTLA programme for apprenticeship standards

Grant applications are now open to explore outstanding teaching, learning and assessment (OTLA) of apprenticeships standards.

Funded by the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) and managed by the Strategic Development Network (SDN), the Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment (OTLA) programme is an opportunity for practitioners to explore, understand and share what outstanding looks like in the context of the new world of apprenticeships.

Delivering apprenticeship standards in the future will require a significant shift in the way teaching, learning and assessment is approached. These grants will give practitioners space to explore specific changes to their role/ practice and what outstanding looks like.

The prospectus and application form are now live on the SDN website. Applications must be submitted by 12pm on 25 April 2018.

The programme will commission 10 collaborative projects, each consisting of at least 10 practitioners from a range of apprenticeship provider types and/or end-point assessment organisations.
