Extended practitioner-led toolkit launched for apprenticeship standards

A newly-extended version of the Exploring Delivery in Apprenticeship Standards toolkit is now available via the ETF’s Excellence Gateway site.

It features new research findings, case studies and tools on areas such as apprenticeship design and planning with the employer, coaching and mentoring, and preparation for specific end-point assessment methods.

Apprenticeship standards are fundamentally different from apprenticeship frameworks and are bringing significant changes for providers. Many of the new elements introduced through the apprenticeship reforms are starting to become embedded in provider practice.

Building on research from earlier this year, 60 apprenticeship practitioners have spent six months taking a deep dive look at different models, approaches and practice that can help to drive outstanding teaching, learning and assessment for apprenticeship standards.

The Exploring Delivery in Apprenticeship Standards toolkit is now available on the ETF’s Excellence Gateway site.
