SET webinar: Improving outcomes for post-16 learners with a physical disability

SET has released its first webinar for the 2018-19 academic year on improving outcomes for post-16 learners with a physical disability.

The webinar  is one of a range of shorter 30-minute webinars due to take place over the coming year, covering a broader range of subjects to appeal to SET members, including: English, maths, learning technology, learner motivations, professional development, SEND, Prevent, health and wellbeing, practitioner research, leadership, offender learning and technical education.

“We have designed our webinars so they cater for members who can’t make a particular time of the day and would like to watch it at a more convenient time. Our on-demand webinars also complement our regular hour-long live webchats, which take place on our SET Facebook Webchat group,” says Martin Reid, Head of Membership.

How do members sign up for a webinar?

Members can register to watch a webinar by accessing the webinar page via the SET website. On the release date they will be sent the recording to the email used when registering to watch the event.

SET members will be encouraged to send questions in before the recording takes place and any further questions can be directed to the speaker via email or social media.
