This webinar looks at an extract from the book, “Improving Learning Through Lesson Observations”, by Terry Sharrock.
The book examines the most common areas for improvement, arising from observations and suggests strategies to improve. Areas for improvement identified include; beginnings and endings; differentiation; assessment for learning; embedding English and math; promoting equality and diversity, and British values.
This presentation focuses on one area of improvement (beginnings and endings) and suggests practical strategies to improve this important aspect of teaching, learning and assessment. A qualified teacher and former Ofsted inspector, Terry has worked in education for over 30 years, both in this country and the USA. He has taught in schools, colleges and adult and community learning.
