How to use this resource

This resource provides materials for English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) and other learners. It is designed for entry levels 1, 2 and 3.

This resource will support teachers in developing learners' English skills and support them in developing knowledge of life in the UK, as well as supporting their application for citizenship.

All topics can be adapted to suit individual students and entry levels. There is a list of topics teachers may cover, example activities, answers to learners' activities, informative website links and resources to support and develop learning.

Within this resource, there are 14 sections with appropriate learner activities and resources to adapt accordingly, as follows:
