Webinar: Creating Dynamic Professional Communities - A Review of the Updated Professional Standards

Join the ETF’s National Head of Educational Governance, Paul Tully, in this review of the revised Professional Standards. This webinar recording explores recent changes to the ETF Professional Standards and how these are expected to drive improvement in teaching and learning across the Further Education and Training sector. Participants will gain an awareness of the changes to the Professional Standards and how these can be used to transform their organisation’s professional culture, including new ways of engaging and motivating teachers.

Paul Tully has worked in Further and Higher Education since 1994 in a range of teaching, management and quality roles before he joined ETF as a Regional Facilitator and then Strategic Researcher in 2020, where amongst his projects was the review of ETF’s Professional Standards. He finished his doctorate in 2020 which used a Bourdieusian perspective to examine the link between professionalism amongst FET staff and their organisational position.
