Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) is the badge of professionalism for post-14 education and training (Year 10, Year 11 and above/adults), helping teachers and trainers advance in their careers and demonstrate their expertise and experience to colleagues, employers and learners.

The registration window for professional formation leading to QTLS is now open (1 December 2020) and will close on 7 January 2021. Register now.

Steps to QTLS

  1. Check your eligibility.
  2. Join SET.
  3. Register for QTLS (once the registration window is open).
  4. View the payment options for QTLS.
  5. Decide on your supporter.
  6. Check out the professional formation of activity so that you can keep on track:

  7. Complete and send us your online workbook by the deadline date, using the guidance for support*.
