Join a focus group to share your experience of being a newly qualified FE teacher

The ETF is working on a research project with Sheffield Hallam to understand the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the training of newly qualified FE teachers and emerging good practice to support these staff.

This is your opportunity to share your experience and help us identify what support is available for ITE teachers and trainers in the sector and how this could be enhanced. We looking for the following people who can participate in one online interview as part of a small focus group:

• teachers or trainers who completed a teaching qualification, level 3 or above, after April 2020
• senior leaders of FE providers who have recruited newly qualified teachers or trainers since April 2020
• senior leaders of ITE providers
• ITE teachers and trainers.

We are looking for representation across FE Colleges, sixth form colleges, adult education services, independent training providers, and other parts of the FE sector.
