New webinar series for ETF’s EdTech and Digital Skills Management Dashboard

A new series of webinars featuring stories from users of the Education and Training Foundation’s (ETF’s) EdTech and Digital Skills Management Dashboard has been launched.

The Management Dashboard enables learning providers to harness the wide range of free training and resources on the Foundation’s Enhance Digital Teaching Platform as part of a CPD strategy. The EdTech offer on the platform is linked to the ETF’s national EdTech competency framework – the Digital Teaching Professional Framework – and the digital skills offer is based round the national standards for Essential Digital Skills. Providers can focus staff on particular training modules and then track their progress in order to provide support.

The webinar series majors on stories of usage in different parts of the FE and Training Sector:

26 November – Adult Community Learning Services with Learn Devon
03 December – Independent Training Providers with Rochdale Training
10 December – Adult Community Learning Services with Lifelong Learning Wirral
15 December – Colleges with PETROC College of Further and Higher Education

You can find out more and book the series on our Booking System.

Each webinar will showcase how a particular organisation has integrated the training on the platform into their digital CPD strategy and then used the Management Dashboard to monitor and encourage take up.

The Department for Education (DfE) is currently funding free access to the Management Dashboard in order to help learning providers support staff in developing their use of educational technology (EdTech) and essential digital skills.

Already staff from over 1,400 learning providers are using the Enhance Digital Teaching Platform for their digital CPD, with significant increase in interest following the need for online and blended learning models to support learners studying at home. Further free EdTech training modules have already been added this autumn focused specifically on online and blended learning with two new categories of modules: Connected and Effective: Working from Home and Managing Online and Blended Learning.
