Stockport Council’s Continuing Education Service has become the second local authority provider to become a Corporate Partner of the Society for Education and Training (SET).
Staff there will now be welcomed as SET members and enjoy a valuable range of professional development opportunities. SET is the only professional membership body dedicated to teachers and trainers working in further education.
Announcing the partnership, Sean Burke of Stockport’s Continuing Education Service, said:
“We are delighted to be able to work with SET to support our staff in their future development. As we welcome a number of newly qualified staff to the service it’s equally important that we continue to support their development. The investment we make in our staff reflects an ambition to be outstanding in all aspects of our learning offer, and specifically the benefit to our learners.
