The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) has released its annual Public Benefit Report for the 2019–2020 financial year.
Using statistics and case studies, the report showcases the impact our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes and membership body, the Society for Education and Training (SET), have made across the Further Education (FE) and Training sector.
As the expert body for professional development and standards in FE across England, our role is to design, develop and deliver CPD for teachers, leaders and trainers to support government policy and meet sector needs. As well as featuring information on our programmes and the difference we make, the report includes three case studies on the:
- Centres for Excellence in Maths programme
- Practitioner research programme
- Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment programme.
David Russell, Chief Executive of the Education and Training Foundation, said: “At the ETF, the desire to improve outcomes for FE learners is at the heart of everything we do. We are pleased to share our 2019-20 Public Benefit Report to showcase how we create public benefit through our range of CPD opportunities, based on research and evidence.
“Using statistics and case studies, this report provides insight into the benefits some of our high-quality programmes have brought in supporting teachers and trainers to excel in their work throughout the 2019–2020 financial year and in the longer term.”
