The Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) is gearing up for "the biggest and best AELP conference yet", held in London on 25 and 26 June 2018.
The national conference comprises a wide range of worktop presentations with 28 topics delivered over two days. There will also be an impressive line-up of plenary speaker who “have the pulse on the sector reforms”.
The 10 sessions across two days are expected to cover the following themes:
- Promoting Apprenticeships
- Managing Sector Reforms
- Ensuring Quality Provision
- Ofsted looking forward
- Good Governance of Providers
- Shaping a Coherent Skills Strategy
- Employers Tackling Skills Challenge
- Review of Post-18 Education and Funding
- Opposition Policy Update and The Value of Partnership.
The Chair of the Government’s Post-18 Education and Funding Review, Philip Augar, will be speaking on the second day of the conference. The vice-chancellor of the University of Bedfordshire and former skills minister, Bill Rammell, will also address the conference.
AELP’s flagship event is sponsored by NCFE, with Anne Milton, Eileen Milner and Sir Gerry Berragan already confirmed to appear.
